Homemade Pizza! …On the Grill?
I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who doesn’t like homemade pizza. I know in my house, we would have it every week if we could afford it. Maybe every night. But just as pizza is universally delicious, it’s a universal truth that it’s cheaper to make your own rather than carrying it out or getting it delivered. And while there are many wonderful ways to cook your own pie in your oven, there’s something really special about doing it on the grill. You get that lovely smokey flavor that comes from a grill, as if you’ve got your very own wood-fired oven.
Garlic Crust: A Must
Rhyming aside, do you like flavored crust? It seems to be all the rage in all the chains. With Chef Shamy Garlic Butter, you can have your own delicious crust! Make sure to spread the butter over all the dough before you put the sauce on, and you’ll get that lovely garlic flavor in every bite, not just the crust! It adds really incredible flavor, but hey, that’s kind of what we do!
Pizza Toppings
There are probably a thousand ways to make a homemade pizza. Seriously, you can put anything on there! There’s a delicious food truck near me that does a specialty fig and pistachio pie. It is absolutely to die for! You’ll notice in our pictures, we were the traditional route. Red sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni. You can do it however you’d like.
