English Muffins
English Muffins are one of my all-time favorites. If I had the choice of all the bread products in the world, they would be at the top of my list. There’s something about the chewy texture and taste of the griddle that I just love. I’ll eat them for any meal, and use them as bread for sandwiches.
Also, it’s one of my favorite vessels for our Fresh Churned Cinnamon Brown Sugar Honey Butter. And now we’ve found a way to make them even better– by grilling them!
Grilling
We love using the grill during the warm months of the year. Depending on where you live, the number of months that are warm varies. So if you live in a place where it’s not warm enough to grill, or you want to make this during the winter, you can always use a grill pan on your stove. But an open flame grill is the best option.
It’s pretty simple. Split your English Muffin in half, and spread some Honey Butter on both sides. Then put the muffins on the grill, butter side down. The flames come up, and the honey in the butter caramelizes for a cinnamon-sweet, crunchy toasting.
Honey Butters
Our recipe calls for our Cinnamon Honey Butter. But you could use any of our delicious Honey Butters. In addition to Cinnamon Brown Sugar, we have Strawberry and Vanilla Bean! Any of them would be delicious!
Enjoy!
