Garlic Bread
We’re kinda obsessed with Garlic Bread over here at Chef Shamy. And it’s not even because our Garlic Butter makes the best tasting garlic bread out there. It’s because garlic bread is life! It’s delicious and makes a great side dish for any meal. Or sometimes an entire meal all by itself.
Yep. I stand by that statement.
Bread, in general, is a versatile compliment to a lot of different meals in a lot of different cuisines. Adding Garlic Butter to that bread makes it even more so!
Grilled
But grilling it? Why? What for? Does it make a difference?
I think so!
Grilling your garlic bread is a great way to go. First off, you don’t have to turn on the oven, which is nice in the summer.
Second, you still get the crispy bread, but an added smoky flavor from the grill. It’s fantastic, and a great twist on the classic that you know and love.
Specifics
A couple things about this recipe:
Does it matter what kind of bread you use? NO. We used a french loaf that had been cut in half. But you can use whatever you have. A whole loaf, or just slices. Either way, it’ll be delicious.
Also, on medium heat, this bread will be toasted in 2 or 3 minutes. Think of it as the same timing as the broil setting on your oven. It’s really easy to burn your bread (or in this case, catch it on fire), so keep an eye on it!
Enjoy!
