Javanese Ginger & Garlic Salad Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 inch piece of fresh (peeled) ginger root.

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1-2 green onions

  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper.

  • Handful Fresh cilantro

  • 2 T olive oil

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar.

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • Juice from one half of a lemon.

  • 1 T sugar

Directions

  • Put solid ingredients (spices and herbs-not sugar) in a food processor with just enough fluid (soy or vinegar) to keep the ingredients processing.
  • Strain stringy portion of ginger root and process again getting everything as small as possible.
  • Add sugar and liquid ingredients and mix well.
