Garlic Creamed Corn

  • 3 T Fresh Churned Garlic Butter
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 4-5 ears of corn
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  1. Remove corn kernels from the cobs. Use the back of the knife to scrape the pulp out.
  2. Melt Garlic Butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and corn (and pulp). Stir to coat with butter. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions and corn are cooked.
  4. Sir in sugar, nutmeg, and heavy cream.
  5. Serve.
