Berry Cookies
Cake Mix Berry Cookies are sure to take a spot at the top of your list of quick desserts. They’re so easy to make — there’s only three ingredients! The fun thing about making cookies from a cake mix is the variety of flavors you can add. We have two flavors of cookie here: strawberry and blueberry. Each one is delicious in their own way, but different enough to be distinct.
Let’s talk through this simple recipe.
Strawberry
This recipe starts with a box of white cake mix. You could also use yellow cake mix if you wanted, but white has a great vanilla flavor. Add a couple of eggs and some of our melted Strawberry Honey Butter. The butter is full of sweet fruit flavor — it’s made with real strawberries, with no artificial flavors or colors.
Then the process proceeds just like any other cookie recipe. Use a cookie scoop or a spoon to make balls of cookie dough. Put them on a cookie sheet and bake!
We also added a drop or two of food coloring, but only because we wanted the two flavors to be identifiable from each other.
Blueberry
The process is exactly the same for this cookie– except we use melted Blueberry Honey Butter instead. Have you tried this butter? It’s new and amazing! It’s a very different flavor than the strawberry, but it’s equally delicious.
These cookies are perfect for a party: Valentine’s Day, birthdays, you name it! With a recipe this simple, it’s easy to make a double batch.
Enjoy!
