Chef Shamy has compiled his tried and true recipes and authored 5 great cookbooks: All About Family Favorites and All About Garlic Butter, All About Mexican Food (on its way to press), All About Honey Butter and All About Garlic Butter Too (both in final edit). Three more are planned for later this year. All these books are great options to have in your cookbook library or to gift to friends and family. All of our cookbooks are spiral bound for ease of use when you’re cooking. Chef David Shamy turned a holiday gift idea (garlic butter) into a delicious food production line of compound butters. Chef Shamy knew that there were so many more applications for his gourmet butter then just spreading on toast and mixing in sautéed vegetables. Garlic Butter is where we have our meager beginnings. What started out as a grand plan to impress a date, resulted in the ultimate garlic butter recipe. The Chef did not end up getting the girl, but 40 years later it snowballed into a specialty food company and line of cookbooks. Our “About Garlic Butter” cookbook is the next in a series of cookbooks that will teach you the best methods for using our delicious, gourmet, compound butter in your cooking. Our Family Favorites Cookbook is a culmination of over 50 years of family recipes that David Shamy has shared with his family and friends. Hot off the press, “All About Mexican Food” departs from the typical and features unique recipes such as Lamb Barbacoa, Passion Fruit Cocktail and the supper moist Chocolate Flan Cake.
