Garlic Butter Cream Pasta & Shrimp Scampi

Chef Shamy Parmesan Basil Garlic Butter adds just the right amount of flavor to create this simple, quick, and delectable dinner.
Serves: 4-5
  • 1 Cup Chef Shamy Parmesan Basil Garlic Butter
  • 1 lb Large Shrimp
  • ½ Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • ½ Teaspoon Lemon Zest
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 16 oz Package of Angel Hair Pasta
  • 1 teaspoon cracked pepper
  • ¼ Cup Dry Vermouth (optional)
  1. Put on a large pot of water to boil. Once it comes to a boil, add pasta and cook until al dente. Save one cup of the pasta water.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt butter on med-low heat. When butter is fully melted add cream & vermouth (optional). Cook for two minutes, then carefully stir in pasta water.
  3. Add shrimp and cook on med-high until it's pink and makes a "c-shape"
  4. Slowly stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Add lemon juice.
  5. Remove from heat and gently pour mixture over drained pasta. Sprinkle with lemon zest and cracked pepper.
