Cinnamon Buttermilk Cornbread

Ingredients
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 6 oz Fresh Churned Cinnamon Honey Butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together melted Honey Butter, eggs, and buttermilk.
  4. Mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into an oiled 9 inch cast iron pan. Bake at 400° F 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool 5 minutes, then cut and serve with additional Cinnamon Honey Butter.
